Drama Club 2012
You have been put in teams consisting of members of your class. We believe that this will make it easier to schedule meetings and rehearsals. Please take advantage of any spare time together and have fun!
All teams are responsible for:
Choosing an appropriate product or service - by Monday March 12 – Be prepared to share your idea to Mrs. MacDonald and Ms. P.
Remember product security is very important so don’t share your ideas with anyone outside of your group.
Come up with a scenario, with characters, plot and setting. Put the first draft in writing and provide to Mrs. MacDonald or Ms. P. as soon as possible so you have enough time to get it done on time.
Finished commercial should be videotaped and edited. Try adding music, sound effects, color, etc…. It’s fine to ask parents to help with this part.
We are going for a funny commercial or at least….not so serious. Use your imagination.
Work together as much as you can at school and outside of school. Schedule team meetings and rehearsals. Make sure EVERYONE on your team has at least one job to do. It takes a lot of people to write, direct, act, film and edit a commercial. Don’t forget props and a setting…..
Please attend all Monday morning Drama classes. That is where we will help you work out any issues you may have. Also, it’s a great time to work with all members of your group.
Remember that you signed a contract to be kind and courteous to everyone. Don’t waste any time, get going right away and HAVE FUN!
