Red Day at OLS, January 20th – Variety Show of Hearts
Friday, January 20th is Red Day at OLS. If you would like your child to receive a Variety Gold Heart Pin a minimum of $3.00 or more donation is needed. (If your child dresses out of uniform and in Red on this day, teachers will accept the usual $2.00 donation). The Variety Gold Hearts can also be purchased during the week of January 16th – 20th at the office. See attached for further details.
Chicken Burger Lunch
Thursday, January 19th is the next lunch day for students. It will be a Chicken Burger Lunch.
Grade Seven – Confirmation Update
Thursday, January 19th there will be a mandatory meeting for students and their sponsors. The meeting will be from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Hall.
Grade Two – First Confession News
There will be a mandatory parent meeting regarding Sacrament of Confession on Thursday, January 26th at 7:00 p.m. ***Note change of date*** Sacrament of Reconciliation will now be on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Grade 2 Enrollment/Family Sunday Mass – 11:30 a.m.
Sunday, January 29th at 11:30 a.m. is the mandatory Enrollment Mass for all Grade Two students of OLS Parish Community. It is also the monthly Family Mass and we invite all families to join the OLS Choir at this Mass. A reminder to families that First Communion will be held on Saturday, May 12th.
Ports of Call Gala
If you have not already purchased tickets for this event, please do so quickly as tables are going fast. We thank all families for their support in making this Gala a success!
